The second round of the 2008 Tour d'Michigan took place on 19 July 08 at the Broome Park flying circle in Flint, Michigan.   A full schedule of events was provided along with a Perky speed competition that was won by Max Dollarhite.   The weather turned from threatening, to rain, to sunny, but the flying progressed throughout, despite the liquid sunshine.   Although the threat of rain and the high cost of gas reduced the attendance, the flyers who did travel to Flint were rewarded with a great day of flying.   Big Art Adamisin honored us with an appearance to top off the day. The facilities included a paved circle plus two grass circles and a much appreciated Porta Potty.   An amazing raffle topped off the day that sent many home with some fabulous door prizes.   Once again, the event winners were presented with award certificates signed by AMA Hall of Fame Member Bob Gialdini.
